That’s why I’m all about using activities that are low-pressure, creative, and genuinely fun – the kind that help students open up without the eye rolls.

6. Secret Message Cryptogram Puzzles
Looking for something a little different? These “crack the code” puzzles combine motivational quotes with a little logic and a lot of fun. Cryptograms are a perfect way to sneak in spelling reinforcement and critical thinking on day one.
